An Ansel Gregory is buried at Mount Tabor Cemetery, Union County, South Carolina. His dates conflict with those available from census records, but are recorded as a matter of record because the ages on the census could very well be wrong. The Ansel buried at Mount Tabor was born in 1800 and died in 1874. A search of the records of Union County reveals only one Ansel there in the 1800’s, therefore, the Ansel at Mount Tabor could very well be Edward’s son. There is no record of Paulina. A George Gregory (who might be the son of Ansel and Paulina) is also buried at Mount Tabor. His dates are 19 May 1853-18 August 1913.
Sarah Gregory 3 (ca. 1820), the fourth child of Edward and Nancy, married Thomas French. They lived in the Santuc Community in 1870. No other record of this family has been found. Their children were: Mary S., ca. 1854; Mandana (Amanda?), ca. 1856; and Thomas, ca. 1858.

Solomon Gregory 3 (8 March 1826-30 January 1910) was the sixth child of Edward M. and Nancy. He married Mary -?- (8 March 1834-24 April 1894). Mary is said to have been a Mitchell.
In 1850, Solomon lived with his parents and was twenty-four years old. In 1860, he and Mary are married and have the following Gregory young people living with them: Adolphus, Andy, Amanda and Lawrence (or Lance). These young people (ages 21, 16, 15 and 14, respectively) are too old to be the children of Solomon and Mary.
In 1870, he and his wife are alone, but she is called ‘Lucy’. In 1880, he is listed as ‘Saul’, Mary is ‘Mary’ again; and they have a nephew, Ezell Gregory, age 14, with them. The year 1900 finds Saul as head of a household consisting of three others: David and Martha Mitchell, who had been married two years and had one son, Judson, age 1. David and Martha are listed as nephew and niece. David was born in April 1881, and Martha in November 1881.
Jarrett (Jerry) Gregory 3 (ca. 1827) was the seventh child of Edward and Nancy. His wife was Anna -?-. Jane Haney, age 23, and Roxy Prisock, age 11, are with the Gregorys in 1860. No relationship is given. In 1870, Jarrett and Anna and children are residing with bachelor brother, Thomas, mother, Nancy, and sister, Margaret (Peggy). In 1880, the family is out and on its own again.
Their communal living in 1870 was probably due to the ravaged state of the economy in the Post-Bellum county. They are known to have six children: William, ca. 1857; Mahalia, ca. 1859; John E., ca. 1860; Gerard James, ca. 1863; Mary, ca. 1872; and Nancy A., ca. 1877.
