<\/a>Donna Puckett 5<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>(3 July 1854-1891), the second child of William and Frances Ann Puckett, married on 7 December 1887, in Carrollton, Pickens County, Alabama, William L. Dunlap (ca. 1861-?).<\/p>\n

<\/a>Mary Mentora ‘Minnie’ Puckett 5<\/sup><\/span><\/strong> (8 November 1855-February 1908), the third child of William and Frances Ann Puckett, married on 8 December 1875, in Pickens County, Alabama, John A. Horton (22 February 1852) of Pleasant Ridge, Greene County, AL, the son of John and Julia Holly Horton. He was a prominent and successful planter in Pickens County. Minnie died in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. John died in Pickens County on 8 September 1882. They had three children: Infant (30 September 1879, born and died in Pleasant Ridge, AL); Infant (ca. 1880, born and died in Pickens County); Mattie Oliva (4 November 1882-?).<\/p>\n

<\/a>Ellen Puckett 5<\/sup><\/span><\/strong> (ca. 1863-?), the seventh child of William and Frances Ann Puckett, was born in Carrollton, Pickens County, Alabama. She married on 7 October 1878, William Kilpatrick (ca. 1861-?). William died in Columbus, Lowndes County, MS.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Joseph Cornelius Puckett\u00a05<\/sup><\/span><\/strong> (9 November 1866-25 November 1936), the eight child of William and Frances Ann Puckett, was born in Carrollton, Pickens County, Alabama. He married on 26 July 1893 in Pickens County, Alabama, Lavenia Longmire (17 December 1872-15 March 1963), of Pickens County, AL. He married on 26 April 1937, in Reform, Pickens County, Alabama, Mattie Elizabeth Kelly (23 January 1917-10 May 1992), of Spring Hill, Alabama. Both Francis and Mattie died in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. They had two children: Frances Elizabeth; Marshall Kelly.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Robert Bruce McCafferty 4<\/sup><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>(15 December 1836-28 December 1906), the fourth child of William and Anna McCafferty, was born in Carrollton, Pickens County, Alabama. He married, first, in February 1860, Isabella ‘Clemmie’ Clementine -?- (23 February 1841-18 July 1860); Clemmie died in Pickens County, and is buried at Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ethelsville, Alabama. They had no issue. Robert married second, on 15 August 1865, in Carrollton, Alabama, Mary Jones (February 1842) of Alabama. Robert served in the CSA, 5th Alabama Regiment, and later in the Army of North Virginia, after which he served in the 41st Alabama Regiment. Robert died in Pickens County, Alabama, and is buried at United Chapel, Pickens County, Alabama. Robert and Mary had two children: John W. (18 February 1869-14 January 1901), born and died in Pickens County Alabama and buried at Unity Chapel with his father; Robert (March 1878, Pickens County, Alabama).<\/p>\n

<\/a>William McCafferty\u00a04<\/sup><\/span><\/strong> (18 April 1839-2 July 1846), the fifth child of William and Anna McCafferty, was born in Carrollton, Pickens County, Alabama. He died in Pickens County, Alabama, and is buried on McCafferty Hill.<\/p>\n

<\/a>James Valentine ‘Volley’ McCafferty\u00a04<\/sup><\/span><\/strong> (14 February 1842-14 January 1913), the sixth child of William and Anna McCafferty, was born in Pickens County, Alabama. He married Willie Scott (22 May 1846- 7 June 1918) on 16 February 1876. He served between 1861 and 1865, in the Pickensville Blues, Confederate States of America. Both James and Willie died in Carrollton and are buried in Carrollton Town Cemetery, Pickens County, Alabama, as are their children, Walter and Ruby Mae. They were the parents of five children: Walter; William R. (January 1882, Pickens County, Alabama-?); Rolfe M.; James Valentine Jr.; Ruby Mae.<\/p>\n

John served as Tax Assessor of Pickens County, Alabama from 1870 to 1878. Both John and Mary are buried at Union Chapel Cemetery, Pickens County, Alabama. They had seven children: Eula Evelyn; William Vestal; Emit Luther; Harvey Wier; Hugh Cornelius (28 September 1882- 8 March 1840), born and died in Carrollton, Alabama; Annie Earline; Bessie.<\/p>\n
