The ship had come to Virginia by way of Canada and brought to the Virginia Colony the first news of the landing of the Pilgrims at Plymouth, Massachusetts. He was thirty-seven years old in 1620, when he landed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>(From: Media Research Bureau, Washington, D.C.)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gregoryfamilygenealogy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Immigration-List-Marked.jpg\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-389 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/gregoryfamilygenealogy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Immigration-List-Marked.jpg\" alt=\"Immigration List Marked\" width=\"422\" height=\"581\" srcset=\"http:\/\/gregoryfamilygenealogy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Immigration-List-Marked.jpg 479w, http:\/\/gregoryfamilygenealogy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Immigration-List-Marked-218x300.jpg 218w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 422px) 100vw, 422px\" \/><br \/><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Several other Gregorys landed prior to 1700, as noted on the Passenger and Immigration Lists Index. <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">An Isaac Gregory landed in Virginia in 1654-1663 from Barbados. <\/span><\/em>Considering that he was the only Gregory with that name of all the early arrivals, he just might be the first \u201coff the boat\u201d This is possible because of the habit of the Clan to pass along the same name from generation to generation.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">There was a Richard Gregory in King and Queen County, Virginia before 1727 who had sons Roger, Richard and West, and several daughters.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">There was a Roger Gregory in Virginia before 1729 who was the father of Roger, who was the father of Richard, Roger, Nathaniel, Thomas and William.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">There was also an Isaac of Pittsylvania County, Virginia before 1750, who <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-391 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/gregoryfamilygenealogy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Isaac-Gregory-A30-Historical-Marker1.jpg\" alt=\"Isaac Gregory A30 Historical Marker\" width=\"199\" height=\"150\" \/>was the father of William, Tunstall, John and Isaac.
